RIO pulling away from a NSX (inside the NSX view)
Here's a very quick video (not the best) my friend recorded of me pulling away from his NSX during our NSX event.
Pull was made from about 85mph - 125mph before I started tapping the brakes.

To give you a sense of where I was at.... that puff of smoke you see is me shifting to 5th which is at 111mph. |

mine says 260kph whihc is around 160mph (it will pass that # due to my mods)
ive only ever been 250kph

try right click and "save as", once it's saved on your PC then play it. |

haha...I forgot to answer you
I'm geared way off. If you've seen some of my posts I mention that I have to start in 2nd gear just because the car is geared way too high, I'm basically driving a 4spd So my top speed is gear limited to around 150mph. But I hit it so fast, it's pretty much insane. If I had longer legs I think the car would pull all the way up to at least 180 (not like I would want to go that fast in a CRX). |

nice. what tranny do you have??? i have a type r tranny and i shift to 5th at 120mph at 8700rpm. you definately need a longer tranny. like an LS.

Really?? That doesn't seem right, I have a 1997 type R trans and I shift at around 8700 as well but I'm almost positive it's at 111mph. So either you are mistaken or one of our speedometers is off.
Here's a video of me at the dyno. You can see it the beginning Jeff is running my car in 4th gear and the camera is zoomed on the speedometer. He doesn't go all the way to 111mph but it's obvious from the video that I would hit 120mph in 4th.

i also have a USDM 97 type r tranny. r you sure you dont have a JDM 4.7 type r tranny. Because i go all the way to 120mph in 4th at 8700. Thats the speed i always let off while racing people. My speedometer isnt off. Do you have the right tire size??
