looks like bad tuning to me. I would love to see the duno graph, the car looked like it made 800hp but only between 8200 & 8600RPM everywhere else it probably made 100HP

I was being dumb and cocky, stating that I had a 700 horsepower car. You must not have noticed the sarcasm in my text.

I don't like huge turbos for that very reason. I don't like that insane surge of power once it spools up.

yeah with good tuning they would aucutally have usable power. They were in red line so much that I'm suprized they dont blow up engines left and right.

you ever seen a drag car on the street? Its exactly like that. It's not the tuning, rather they have to keep the motor revving to keep the turbo spooled. Look at the CFT civic. If you have ever seen it on the streets, it catches traction in 5th gear. Yet it runs 10.1 in the 1/4 at like 142 mph on slicks.

yeah but even from those videos it looks like the cars lurch foward and kinda stop accelerating, dont get me wrong they are fast cars. Just seems they could be tuned a little better to get a board power range

while there is some you can do with tuning to make the surge of power a little nicer, with a big turbo on a small motor there isn't a lot.
That's not any of the cars in the video, but it's an example of what a high hp dyno looks like. That car was tuned by Jeff Evans also so it's not bad tuning. It's just what happens when you're running a big turbo.

jesus that must have been a HUGE ass turbo for that motor.
Once you start getting in giant turbos like T66's and bigger yeah its pretty much you either have 150 horsepower or 725 LoL
