interesting. I wouldn't touch a saturn as far as porformance goes. Other then the newer ones with the ecotec motors, i think they are kinda weak. A kid at my highschool turboed his saturn sedan and from what i hear its quick....for a saturn
Slam a snail on one of those ecotec motors though...then i wouldn't be so quick to talk shit... bah >.< but thats just me.

Unreal!!!!
Just to give you some quantitative numbers on all this HP (I'm doing this at the crank with a 15% loss) .......
My CRX:
2100lbs -> 309hp == 6.8lbs/HP
1997+ 3.2 NSX:
3100lbs -> 290hp == 10.7lbs/HP
KARs TL:
3400lbs -> 270HP == 12.6lbs/HP
1990 Stock CRX Si:
2000lbs -> 108HP == 18.5lbs/HP
2003 996 turbo:
3114lbs -> 420HP == 7.4lbs/HP
2004 Ferrari 360 Modena:
3197lbs -> 400HP == 7.9lbs/HP
That dude's sick ass supercharged Z06:
3150lbs -> 818HP == 3.9Lbs/HP!!!!!
Now of course this all has to do with gearing and HP. But seriously, can I hear a ....God Damn!!!!!!!

Honestly I have always loved our little hatchbacks, however we have always been limited by our displacement. Even my NSX which was way more $$$ then most Domestics only had a tiny little 3.2
In the 0-60, 1/4 mile game I don't care what anyone says...... there is no substitute for displacement. Of the late, tuners have been bolting big ass turbos to the 4 bangers and getting upwards of 800whp from them and that's impressive. However, what do you think happens when people start doing that to a 5.7lt Domestics ...... actually you saw what happens. Steve's Camaro with something like 1200hp, and that's nothing!!
If we can make 800hp out of a 2.0lt LS/VTEC then do the math. A 4.0 V8 should be able to pull 1600hp, and then a 5.7lt would be close to 2400hp. Now of course there's volumetric efficiency, flow rates, DOHC versus push-rod, etc. But let's just say the the same type of technology was applied to the Domestic large displacement engines......we'd see some scary stuff!!
