Kid's Day at The Glen Thursday July 20

Why not join a bunch of us at Watkins Glen on July 20 for a few laps around the track cheering up some sick kids?
John and I are going, maybe a few others from here already, and lots more from other boards.
I am staying at Longhouse Lodge 607 535 2565.
$60 for a few hours at an enjoyable speed on the track. Making a special day for these kids. Tough to beat.
I hope to see you there.

Dennis beat me to this......

Anyway, here's the deal. Every year Track Masters holds a charity event with "Camp Good Days". I first heard about this and went up with the NSX guys in 2003 (were I met Dennis). Basically we go up and for a nominal fee we get to drive kids around the famous Watkins Glen Raceway at "touring" speeds (70-80mph). Who are these kids?? Well, these children are sick, some of them terminal. What "Camp Good Days" does is find kids from all over the area that love cars and would like to be involved with motor-racing if they ever get a chance to grow up. They bus these kids in and for one day we get to drive them around the track and make their dreams come true. It's very touching and if you're involved it's a day you will never forget. Some of these children have been through the ringer and the smiles on their faces are absolutely priceless!! To be able to bring smiles to a little ones face and then think they may not be around next year is humbling.

I definitely would love to see some of you guys there, like I said you will never forget it.

If anyone does go I would just like to say make sure your car is in good running order. We are a "tuning" site and I just want to make sure we're not "tuning" on the track Everything has to be in very good working order and you maybe subject to a track inspection before they let you run on this famous race track.

Here's my buddy Bob Ondrovic from NSXPRIME explaining the event in his words.....

I have it for the whole year. The only time it changes is if I have to go back to a 7 day schedule.
