Watkins Glen & Trackmasters Septmeber class!!
Hey guys I'm going up to Watkin's Glen on Septmeber 4th & 5th for a novice school with Trackmasters. Anyone who wants to get into REAL racing should think about attending!!!
The class is filling up fast and you'll have to act now.
Trackmasters IMO is the best school out there and they pay special attention to actually teaching you about what is going on while driving at high speed on a race course. Watkin's Glen is an insane 3.5 mile road course with 11 turns and multiple elevation changes!!!
Come out to the track you WILL be hooked.
Please PM me right away if your thinking about going!!!

Silly question, are you towing your car over there or driving it? After my shenanigans at E-town I seem to be very cautious about things unexpectedly breaking.
<---Still seeing if I can manage one day into the budget and buy tires for the Jeep and somehow get tires for myself. AND some brake pads because I don't trust my stock pads.
After E-town on the 12th I may need tires sooner than I had anticipated. I just wish I never dented my rim
Anyone got some cheap 15x7's they want to sell?

And that's all assuming I can switch holidays somehow. I think that's my major hold up right now

I'm still trying to work out the legistics on the tow or no-tow idea. I would rather not tow the car but remember I have my son who's coming with us. So I either have to rent a trailer and borrow a family members truck or Karen has to follow me in the TL. We are probably gonna just take two cars because the trailer is 40- per day. So that plus the gas to tow will be more than just taking two cars. The down side is it will be boring for the both of us.
Do you have the stock brake setup on your car?? If so then yeah, I would throw some nice track pads on there.

Eh... Looking highly unlikely to happen for me this year. Holiday switching has proven to be impossible this late in the game.
On a good note though. I'm buying tires for the Jeep, a new Konig helium (decided to keep them and just replace the bad one) and probably some new tires (Toyo has turned out to be cost in-effective, so possibly Khumo MX's or Azenis). Probably won't get the Khumo's until I KILL the current tires.
Not being able to go has kind of bummed me because I have read nothing but good thing about trackmasters. It looks like an excellent group for me to start out with. Pricing is very comparable to all other groups too. I'm going to try to get a few auto-x's as a cheap replacement. This sept-oct has a few good ones that I wholeheartedly intend on attending.
