Andrie Hartanto in World Challenge race at Infineon!!!!

Andrie Hartanto is an acquaintance of mine I met through NSXPrime. I had the pleasure of driving with him on a few laps at this very same track, Infineon (old sears point). He's a hardcore professional driver who has many years experience. This is a full in car video of his run during the World Challenge at Infineon.

This is the real deal, drag racers beware of intense action with turns, elevation changes, heavy use of brakes, and near misses IMO this is what auto racing is all about!!!!

watching that video makes me want to get into road racing..What did he break?..I was to busy listen to the k20a..prolly was the tranny or shift linkage..the way it sounded like.

It was a stupd mistake Basically what happened is he lost the engine on a practice session the day before so they had to swap in their spare engine. When they did it was in a rush and they forgot to tighten down the throttle cable to the bracket so during the race his throttle cable jumped off the bracket. Nothing was really wrong but he had to get towed back to the paddock.

*******Edit...... That's not the race I thought it was Actaully at this race he broke an axle and it happened right at the entrance to the pits.
