I accidentally bought a car that I would otherwise not have but I am strangely infatuated with it now and want to make it fast. I have a 1987 corolla and am going to swap the engine and trans. It is the manual FWD w/ a carb but I want a hardcore EFI beast and a bullet proof trans preferably stick but auto will do. I need suggestions so please comment.
if it is the fwd version that would be the four door unless it is a 1988 that would make it the (AE92) which would if fact then be fwd if it is a 1987 2dr i would be an(AE86) that they only made rwd. let me know exacly what it is if it has a carb it is probably the sr5 if in fact it is the fwd 1987 4dr you have your work cut out for you however if it is the AE92 or AE86 your build possibilities are endless and i would be glad to help you any way i could they are awesome little cars let me know exactly what it is otr post some pics id love to see it

want to make it super fast huh? Look into 4A-GZE and 20V Black top's from 90's Corolla Levins. They weren't offered in US, but you sure can buy the motor. oh btw, the 20V blacktops came ITB stock
