Echo build
finally I'm going to put some cash into this echonobox of mine.
I have finally decided after much research that I will be ordering a set of Tein Stech springs.
yayyyy
I have plans to build up the suspension and get rid of this sickening body roll.
UPDATE!!-- Echo now runs Tein Stechs at a 1.2" drop front and back with a spring rate of 2.6 front / 3.2 rear
Next addition shall either be new struts or a Whiteline Rear Sway Bar

then you picked the wrong springs the tein s techs arent desighned for performance they are desighned for comfort so they are low but the spring rate is really soft. I dont know what there is out there for your car but if I were you Id look into eibach or h and r if your going springs Coil overs are getting really cheap as well so you might want to check out some of the decent entry level ones like the tokico illuminas.

haha you'd be surpised ricky...for accords and most other cars s.tech's suck...but on the echo they had the highest released spring rates (not only in numbers but in relation to lowering height as well).

the eibachs are supposed to have a soft spring rate for the echos. infact the people who did get eibachs only got them for ride comfortability. they are supposed to be the one of the best springs for comfort for the echo. There really isn't much in the way for aftermarket stuff for the echo.

the best springs I've seen for the echo are Swift springs but they are alittle out of my price range. maybe later on down the road I'll look into getting them. but i figured that I would just get the teins and then couple them with rear sway bars and what not to help stiffen up that assend. springs are only a small portion of what it takes when coming to working on the suspension.

just suspension. the echo demands alot of work to add any power so I shall save that for later. plus I'm happy with 108hps on a 2000lb car for now....it has a decent 1/4 mile time (16.1 @ 1/4)

yeah I was doing the research and there isnt really much out there for them like tadashi said. it sucks especially since the car weighs nothing

what i found neat is they come with stiffer rear rates through most mainstream companies to help dial out understeer unlike most honda springs
