Toyota Yaris news
When I bought my Yaris at the dealership the salesman said that there was gonna be a hybrid version of it. He said that it would get 90 miles to the gallon on the highway.

but how many gallons of gas can you buy with the price difference? and having to repace battery packs in a few years.
plus that is with windows up, no a/c going the speed limit on flat ground.
imho, buying a hybrid is not a wise choice. just buy the cheap slow reliable cars (fit, aveo, yaris, scions, etc...) if you want good gas mileage.
