has anyone bought the new YARIS as yet?

My friend just bought one, 2 days ago.he bought a 2007 polar white 4 door sedan..manual trans..neat lil car..for what it is it's really good..has some good power for a small car and its real smooth.

i truly am jealous everytime I see someone driving the 3door hatch. I really...really..really want one...

the hatches are nice...but my fiend wanted teh 4 door...we going to be makin a intake for it...cant wait for the big aftermarket companys..plus the car is just to quiet stock..cant tell if the car is on sometimes.

I'm not sure if the yaris uses the same 1nzfe engine as the echo but if it is it is the same engine that has been used in the toyota vitz, platz, yaris, and echo. Also the Scion xA and xB use the same engine as the echo. so parts are pretty much interchangeable there is a great yaris/echo/vitz forum i belong to you can visit for further research.

WE did some research...the parts are interchangable but..the yaris has some things shaped different under the hood....I'll tell him to join TJ.

Yeah, I bought a Yaris. It's 5 spd Polar White sedan. Oh wait, you were already talking about my car. j/p

Yeah, I saw a couple here rolling in Jersey. Hopefully, I can get some monies to get the JDM body kit, Tein suspension, rim + tires, and the motor swap.

if the yaris runs the 1nzfe engine like my echo then Blitz and TRD both make S/C's

also you could look into getting the starlet engine or there is a guy in socal thinking about putting the corrola S engine in it (180hp in a light car = mad)

i like the yaris..i think its definatly the best value of any car on the market and the gas mileage is sick
idk if i could deal w/ 106hp though..lol

let's just say that my echo only has liek 108horses i beleive...but ona 2000lb car it's impressive for real. the toyota echo stock runs a 16.1 1/4 time, that's faster than quite a few more expensive cars
