Alot of people wonder what is up with the Bpu (and of course the +'s) on supras.. so here is alittle insight.
BPU stands for Basic performance upgrades. This is where most supra owners start the mods on thier cars.
Basic BPU includes: Downpipe (such as the RMM), Exhaust(There are many to choose from as some include the HKS Superdragger, Apexi' N1, and the ), and intake; Fuel Cut Control (such as Greddy BCC or the HKS fcd); Boost Controller (Manual or Electronic boost controller). Also can include aftermarket bov, aftermarket gauges and A-piller, and a turbo timer.
BPU+ Includes: Adjustable Cam Gears & a Front Mount Intercooler ( The Most widely used are the Greddy 3 and 4 row or the HKS Type S)
BPU++ Includes: Fuel Control (afc,sfc and more) & Nitrous.
There is also APU (Advanced Performance Upgrades) which include a upgraded fuel system, an upgraded fuel controller, upgraded injectors, and either upgraded twin turbochargers or a conversion to a larger single turbocharger.
