not a bad idea actually. Ide back that up. Get the users move involved with the site. John would have to do most of the work with that but if hes game it has my vote.

i'd kinda like to have rotating banners. Maybe changed everyday or something (i know it can be done through javascript).
It's just be nice to have something that once set up is virtually mainence free.
Maybe we could throw that banner up on the night theme that has no banner right now? By we i mean John of course haha

I can rotate the banners very easily, I can do it randomly every time the page loads. I say between NJN63 & Sloganish you guys send me a few and I'll set it up right away. However, the problem with doing it like Sloganish did it is the plain TJ banner I have expands when the browser is resized. No big deal though, I can change it so that it always stay the same size and just stays "centered".
You guys, PM me a couple of your ideas and lets get it going.

OK before anyone bitches about the banners here are the exact details!!
The banners need to be 706px wide & 121px in height to be included in the rotation.
If anyone has a large monitor you can now see that they don't stretch. What you see is what you get. If we make them closer to 900wide to fill a 1024 screen then we will surely get some people complaining how it's off the screen (welcome to web development).
If anyone feels like creating some cool banners with these specs feel free to do so and PM the original to me.

Thanks!! I can't believe nobody else mentioned the artwork. I know it's a little grim but it's good to pay tribute.

Jadkar's car is an Si and he collected all the parts and did it in one shot. Actually sold his NSX as a sacrifice to do that. He's owned the car since high school if I remember right, but most of the parts on it currently were done in the recent build.
Not to take away his thunder, but I figured I could field a few of those questions.

Thanks buddy, no problem. I'm not around that much to answer my own questions. I did own the car since High School (I bought it new in 1991 as a 1990 left over. NSX was sold and 50% went to this car and 50% to my now sold business.
All the parts and what not are listed in my VbGarage.
