Some suggestions, minor
Just a few suggestions like having forum wide contests and stuff going on
Like jadkar had the idea of making calendars car of the month kinda thing on SHO but it never took off, It'd be great to be here
And how about make 2 meets somewhere in mid summer or so, one for the Eastern guys one for western, once we get more members should be a breeze, we have at least 6 members just in NY/JN area, a big photoshoot would be awesome
I'll be coming up with tons more ideas soon, so stay tuned.
btw : they are just ideas that im throwing out there, they could be bad, they could be good, if you dont like them, say so, i really wont mind
edit: a grammer correction button would be pretty nifty as well, im not sure how hard it is to do so.
This is a forum right now with a great community of very active people, with great projects and stories, so having contests and meets would be great.
This makes me think of another idea: I personally usually just browse the CRX forum and the offtopic, and never lurk in the delsol/accord/etc places and miss out on all the great stuff that's going on in there...
How about we have a "project" forum where everybody could chime in and see what projects are going on in there, no random questions, no bull, just build threads, the car specific questions can go into the car related forum, but this way everybody would know what's going on with who, whats new etc...
The forum would have very strict rules, no stupid questions, full description of builds, pictures is a must, not stories, no more then like 2 threads per car per person etc...

how about a monthly best, joke contest?
Or best insult contest?
Or like a funniest picture of the month of you doing something stupid contest?
The winner dosnt have to get nothing major, like a few $ paypal, and like a keychain with a honda emblem or something?
Like i said, just ideas im throwing out there...
Edit also a show and shine kinda section, where people can post their recent photoshoots of the car, or just want to show off their car. IMO the Car specific forums should stay to car specific stuff like questions, for sale parts and announcements. Unlike the board I will no longer mention we should have communicative (Sp?) topics where everybody will post no matter what the car is, and everybody would visit, no matter what they drive, on that other board it was very separated...

Time killer section, where people could list internet time killer games, to play when you're bored, or a quick article to something odd, you know that type of deal.

me and john were talking about fixing up the front page all nice. Have links and descriptions of current projects going on..or links to hot threads.
add a picture to the description and viewers could get an idea of what kinda things are going on in here without having to open to the main forum and search for it.
