Signature Size Restriction
There are quite a number of sigs on here that are really excessively large. Could we do something to keep the size down? Either limit it to a certain # of lines of text or a pixel dimensions. Sigs don't need to be huge to be cool.

As much as i think nobody is on dial up anymore there are some people who still are and not so much because they cant afford it but its just not available to them in certain areas. That happens here in ny alot. And like mad-ass the other day who was on a shitty connection due to no fault of his own. I hope everybody takes it up on their own to resize their sigs. I would rather give you guys the power to moderate yourselves but if it becomes a bigger problem we will have to implement the hack and resize it automatically.

wide isn't usually the problem, it's when it's so high that you really have to scroll past it to get to the next post that it's too big IMO

i agree 110%. I personally would like to see sigs no bigger than 1/4 of the screen (about the size of A_White_Gs-R's or Echo's).
Go here: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=569788 and read that topic or another one on the site. It's 10x easier to read because i don't have to scroll through repetative images. Honda-tech has no images at all. I think that is a little too extreme, but i'd like to see a limit here because there is no reason to have 5 quotes, an image, and other random shit after your post.
As far as the dial-up thing, i'm also a victim of that at times. My parent's house is in the middle of nowhere and nothing is available out there besides satallite which is $$$. We've tried, believe me. |

I know mine is wide but not really too big. ontop of that the file size is small so it shouldnt hinder anybody. but if we make a universal size i will change it if its smaller than what i have now.

i also think that by imposing a maximum size, people will become more creative in making their sigs, so if anything we'll get to see what people can come up with.

yea sigs are riddiculously huge Ive been thinking about saying something but have been debating on how big it should be does 460 x 160 sound good to you guys
