FUCK Stupid People
Friend got rear ended at a stop light, messing up the entire back end of her civic, other driver's car just had bumper damage... and the other driver and their insurance is denying responisibility and won't pay for shit? Wtf is that.
People piss me the hell off when they don't take responsibility for the shit they do.

question: do police reports include judgement of the situation, or do they just record statements made by the parties? an officer came by when it happened, i don't understand how they could deny responsibility w/ a police report of the situation...

lol no...
she would have to be totally flying in reverse to cause so much damage...
this is besides the point but i went to the accident site after it happened and the other driver's family made the comment "she called her whole family to come, haha". there were a lot of us there, but that comment made me want to pummel them....we were concerned about our friends/family... fucking idiots.

yeah... rear ending someone else is a pretty clear cut case...
it's just too obvious. the things in front of you, you should be able to avoid. There's no way they'll get out of that. As long as she got their insurance information, she can just file the claim against them with their insurance company, and take the rest to court.
tell her to call a lawyer... no doubt.

yeah you cant just say you didn't do it...
as for the comment I probably would have been in the guys face that just bullshit
The fact that they are even TRYING to get out of it is bullshit and honestly if it HAS to go to court try and get them for court costs, rental car costs, etc and really teach them a lesson.

Just heard earlier today that the girl canceled her insurance right after the accident and actually had a suspended license at the time of the accident. I dunno how that would affect coverage or whatever..
In the mean time my friend has talked with 2 lawyers and they say that they need to take the insurance company to court. Neither of them wanted the case... not enough money in it i guess. One said to go to small claims court. I heard that both lawyers were pretty much dicks about it. The lameness continues.

i got caught in a pretty similar situation when i wrecked my first car.
situation:
rainy day, and it was a 3 lane road, including a right turn only lane. traffic is completly stopped on the 2 left lanes and a car pulls inbetween the stopped traffic. i nail the guy going 50. i wasnt speeding, and wasnt doing anything wrong. cop came, noted that it was less than 160ft from an intersection, and noted that the other driver appeared to be at fault and gave him a ticket.
2 days later i get a call from the guys insurance (this accident happened right infront of the guys work) stating that his boss saw me from outside, and i was obviously speeding. they also mentioned that he said that the accident happened at least 400 ft from the intersection.
he of course denyed responsibility. too bad the officer thought otherwise, as his insurance paid for the $14.5k for my car, and my gap insurance covered the other $4k that was on my financing. my car was totaled . thankfully no injurys on either end. 13.5k in damage to my car.

What kind of car was it? ^^^^^
and for noopie the suspended lisence wont help her but why on earch did she cancle the insurance the next day??? Thats the most dumbshit move i have ever heard. Now they will look suspicious and it wont help her at all in court. She would have had a good case in small claims court with the police report alone and some pictures for extra visual aid. Its a chance she can still win this in small claims court. And the lawyer thing is bullshit.
