I got pulled over on my way to school, as the title says
I was stoped in traffic and he was on a side street directly perpendicular to the place where i was stoped, so his car was pointing right at me.
Puts the lights on, pulls out, and I knew it was me. We get onto a side street, do the usual procedure, wave him on, turn the car off, emergency lights on, keys out and on the roof, hands on the steering wheel no extra moves.
He comes up to the car, asks for the usual, I give it to him, asks me if he knows what im getting pulled over for, my dumbass says no, even tho I perfectly know what its for.
He tells me I didnt have my seatbelt on, I truthfully tell him, that I physically cannot buckle up, because my seatbelt lock is broken and it wont hold it in there, and I was going to take it to honda on wednesday, which is my only day off for the last 15 days. He asks me why I dont have a front plate, i tell him that it fell off (bad lie, but I need to have it on my other car, and I wasnt going to tell him that).
He asks me where im from, I tell him russia, he asks me how long I say 6 years ago, here is the kicker, he tells me that its not neceserally a bad thing, but he never really seen people put their keys on the roof, its more of a southern/california thing, as a sefety precausion. I guess it was a good thing that I did that.
Lets me go to college so I wouldnt be late, and I keep driving.
I guess being pulled over 7/8 times before pays off, I actually know the right procedure now.
Let me go just telling me to put the front plate on and get the belt fixed. Thanks.
Thats twice i've been pulled over this year (stupid things, didnt have my lights on last time) and let go.
