FYI my mistake, dont do it!
a few years ago i honestly forgot a court date...bad call anyways i called about a week later asking what i could to to remedy the problem, it SEEMED easy enough they said to come to the county JAIL and pay the fines, then reschedule and it would be ok........liars... i went there, talked to someone who told me to wait a second, next thing i knew a sherriff took me in back and booked me, i had to sit in jail for 8 hours just to get processed and released, didnt get to reschedule i had to pay all my fines and be guilty on my ticket or else i woulda had to stay in jail til they could arrange a new date....so in conclusion DONT MISS COURT!!!!

good call, Judges hate when you miss. Just look at it this way. Good thing you didn't get stopped in a traffic stop, they would have hauled you to jail and towed your car. And if you had a chick in the car that would be hugely embarrassing.

damn you fell for the "reschedule it" trick? 
when I was 17 I was on my way to work and this guy cut me off and I rear ended him but he got a ticket. he decided to fight so me my mom and this woman who teaches at the school his daughter went to all show up at court and he is nowhere to be seen the cop was pissed and was like "I want to go to his house right now and arrest him myself"
I ended up getting a new bumper and $3000 out of that

my first day at work some lady called and asked about some info, she was like "does this person have a warrant?" we said yes and she asked what she could do, we told her to come and and take care of it she says "but if i come in to take care of it you guys are juts going to arrest me"

thats how i got arrested...i misread my paperwork..and missed my date..went in to clear it up at the court..judeg hooked and booked my ass..no chance to explain...

same thing happened to me except it was my sister who drove and got money and crap....worked out for me though i got to miss school
