Tein or eibach?

since i'm gonna be having a little money in soon, yet not enough for a swap. still kinda deciding between the 2.

Tein FLEX

or

Eibach Pro Kit.

NONE go H&R. Good prive good quality. But if u had to go with on of the above choices. Go Tein. Eibachs tend to sag as I was told from many people.

Are you certain these are your choices? it seems a little weird to have a $250 spring against a $1400 coilover

if its right, I would go wit the tein flex for a few reasons...the greater range of adjustablity, its tein's lowest priced coilover with separate preload and ride height, and it includes pillow ball mounts.

type flex is a pretty expensive coil over set up for street. I doubt your going to use it to its full potential. Some people will argue oh but you have the option to do this and that. I find it pointless if your not going to use it.

Before you decide on a suspension set up you need to figure out what your application is. Its riddiculous to buy tein type flex if your just going to be using it on the street. You would save alot of money and be just as happy if you got SS or even basic. A nice shock spring set up might make you happy as well. Ive been through a number of suspension set ups on my accord so if you need any help let me know but like I said the first thing you need to do is find your application once youve found out what your going to be using it for we can help you out better.

that's like saying "girl next door" vs. "supermodel"

both have pros and cons.

one reason to get a set of tein flex's over say, a basic set up like the tein ss, is that the sleeves don't rust, they have a coating on them. the ss set do not.

what kind of driving do ya do?

k just to end the confusion. i meant Type FLEX or a setup with eibach pros with ? shocks.

and right now all i do is DD but once rain is gone, i'm going to start auto-x, and possibly track too. i heard theres one in san fransisco gonna check it out after rain. so this is why i'm even thinking of FLEX in the first place.

and no blake no delete yet lol.

and no guys not only street like i said ^^^...

so with that said that gives more info. what do you guys think?

and just some even MORE info. i'm starting at a restaurant. and expect to get enough from there to be saving double what i am now if not more. and my works exactly 1.2 miles from me so i wont be driving to work anymore prolly unless its raining.

if you are going to auto-x and can tolerate a stiff suspension to DD, i'd go flex. Thats what i want to upgrade to eventually.

haha stiff suspension is good only for about a week...

then your back is screaming to tell you "hey ass, get some softer rates" haha.

esp. when you have a bucket seat like me. i have my zeals set at the softest and even then, i'm feeling every pebble

haha right on.

for some reason, tein suspension feels a lot softer, so maybe it might be a good idea =P

just get a nice shock spring combo and dont waste your money. The most I would get is a tein basic or ss set up. Anything more and you will just be waisting your money because you dont have the resources or knowledge to use that set up to its full potential. It will just be a big waste of money. I think youd get more out of the ss set up and a nice shock spring set up. You should look into
Tein SS
Illumina shocks (best bang for the buck IMO)
H and R springs
Eibach Springs

and thats really all I will recomend.

yeah the edfc is the shit especially since it has those three buttons to save your settings so you can be riding in a nice smooth setting and then hit a button and have an agressive set up on tap when ever you need it

telling you if your on a tight budget and looking for a sleeker ride, better handling, and tight looks. Then for with some H&R Sport Lowering Springs and some KYB AGX Shocks.

I had the race. For street application I think they were more agressive then anything you would reasonably need. I think they advertise them being 50 - 90% stiffer then stock lol they are really good but are a bit ruff

Even tho you get the best suspension set up, that doesn't mean you will do good in auto x. I would start out stock for couple month on auto x and go from there.
