FAQ jackson racing supercharger

Some basic questions

How long to install.. About 6 to 10 hours, depending on your skill level and application.

How much horsepower.. Jackson racing claims about 40 percent over stock

What mods are needed.. None, you can use this kit on stock components. Although I would personally upgrade my fuel pump.

Instruction.. www.jacksonracing.com has step by step instructions. Follow them to the t, if you don't it will cost you alot of time in the long run. They have done an excellent job with their instructions.

Other things.. Jackson racings has the best tech support I have ever talked to. I have had to call them on a few things. they are right on top of there product. Don't be afraid to call them

My personal prefferences.. Always carry spare belts and tensioners. All jackson racings size belts can be bought at any parts store. You just have to cross refferance the numbers. I personally just carry extras. I hate to be stranded.

yeah, im still trying to figure out how to launch my SVT Focus (jrsc equipped). I installed mine in about 7 hours (it should have been done in 5) and we didn't use any of the directions until most of it was already done (I would not reccommend this - use the directions like yellowrexsi said). We had some issues cause my install was really tight too, we spent like an hour trying to get a stud in the back of the new intake manifold. Other than that minor detail, it was a complete bolt-on installation. I also have the FRPP big boost kit (3" 10psi pulley) that included a new MAF, 42# injectors, and a Ford ecu reflash.

Note: I realize that I prolly have the only Focus on this site and that nobody has any use for any of the details on a svt Focus supercharger install.

My point: I agree that Jackson Racing makes easy to install and dependable supercharger kits.
