Removed parst yesterday

So i was tired of my car popping out the exhaust between shifts and throwing a cel occasionaly so i removed the boost controller and reinstalled the recirculation hoses to my bov, no more cel and no more popping through the exhaust not to mention the bucking and jumping it would sometimes do at low speeds around town. I believe it was all do to the bov venting into the atmosphere, but i could be wrong, but these cars arent meant to vent atmospherectly.

very true, until you go with a blow thru maf, vent to atmosphere blow off valves do more hurt than help.

plus, with a vent to atmosphere bov, you run the risk of destroying the cat in the up pipe. which will eventually destroy your turbo and possibly the engine.

bov's are useless on our cars unless we NEED to have one (bigger turbo). most of the time you run rich in between shifts.
