Taillight swap
Anyone know how easy it is to do? I might be trading with a guy for his 05's and I just wanted to know what tools I should bring along.

I would imagine all you would need is a 10mm socket/wrench/nutdriver and a panel removal tool. never done it is a n impreza, but those tools would be my guess

shit dont swap fo the newer ones, they are ugly! im sure its easy. from experience, its just a few bolts behind trunk lining and they should pop right out. easy way is to pull the lining back and see whts behind there.

well i did the swap, ima make a thread in a lil while with vids of my new exhast. basically, it was very easy. you just pop out the two clips on each side, get a 8mm socket wrench to unscrew the 5 or 6 nuts that were there, and unplug the wire harness, and pop it out. couldnt have been easier.

what did you do about the missing bulb?
there should have been 2 brake lights on the car, 3 locations for bulbs on the 05 housing?

I didnt touch any bulbs, just the wiring harness. You just remove that and thats it. Ill have to go check on the locations for the bulbs, I believe there are three locations though.
