METS you know they will win it. We eliminated the dogers last year. and this year st louis is gonna get a cleet in their asses. mets have a powerful line up and the pitching is actually looking like it might be good this year. john maine is solid, pelfrey is fucking sick, glavin is glavin, el duque if he stays healthy is solid, i dont like perez but hey 4 out of five aint bad and perez has an extremely high ceiling and if he gets his act together will be a good pitcher.

Tigers will collapse just like last year. The yankees will kill them in the AL. They look really strong and the pitching is healthy and looking good. Min will have a good run this year also. The al east is gonna be a strong division this year. ( i know the aformentioned teams arent in the al east.)

What do you mean they will collapse just like last year? THEY WENT TO THE WORLD SERIES!! They've consistently been the worst team in baseball over the past 15 years. I think going to the world series does not constitute as a collapse. And as far as the Yankees killing them in the AL...I guess you missed the series between them last year, the Tigers dominated the Yankees and sent them home crying like little bitches.

They collapsed last month or two of the season and got a hot streak going at just the right time. thats the only reason they went toa world series.
THEY WERE OUTCLASSED BY A TEAM THAT THEY WERE BETTER THAN IN THE WORLD SERIES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. The tigers were THE best team in baseball for most of the season till the last two months when they couldnt buy a win. They got lucky against the yankees last year. the yankees beat themselves. Too many drama queens on that team not pulling their weight, injuries, and a starting pitching staff that didnt exactly have the most confidence in the world. the yankees will murder them this year. Tigers made one small imporvemt last season by getting sheff but guess what by them getting sheff they made the yankees better. If sanches becomes the pitcher everybody thinks he will then the tigers will be sorry they traded him.
How does a team go from being like 20 games in first place mid season to winning the WILD CARD!!!!!!! on the last day of the season? This team over acheived during the season and showed what they were in the end. they got hot at the right time at the very end of the season and got lucky in the alds plain and simple.

yankees got some starting pitching issues already when PAVANO is your opening day pitcher you know you got issues. Mets named pelfrey their #5 starter. park back in the minors, sele back in the minors or released he may ask for a release since he wants to start. one more week.

METS jumped out the gate and crushed the cardinals in the three game series. total runs were mets 20 cards 2. SWEPT like the bullshit team they are this year. still bothers me from last year but screw it its over and move on. now we got the braves. if we take the series from them this will be a good start and one of the best in recent years. Glavine, hernandez and especially maine pitched MASTERFUL. it was incredible the way maine put the cards in his back pocket. good year to come.
