here you go fellows

allrighty i thought id shar my story with you guys....

8 years old- i began to put on weight because of no parental need for exercise and my lazy ass just sitting around

13 years old- im a hefty mofo, weighing 30pounds heavier than an average kid in my class

15 years old- i enter high school at 5' 4" and 200lbs, you can see i was a fat ass

15-16 years old- i plegded myself to loose weight and get bitches starting with a regular workout plan listed below

1. 30 min of cardio boxing
2. 30 min of lifting and situps/pushups
3. 1 mile run
4. omitting all carbohydrates from my meal plan

the outcome of this was a 30lb weight loss in a 50-70 day period, and over the course of the next year an growth in height upwatrds of 4 inches, now i sit at 17 years old, 6'1" 180 lbs, and need to get back on a workout plan, tonight i boxed for 15 min to get warmed up and ran for about 10 min, just easing back into the workouts until i can getr up to full strentgh, eventual supplements and lifting will come into play as i want to get bigger and buffer than ever before

this is me when i was a freshman in high school, i was in a play i was a cowboy stfu about the hat

this is me now

Awesome story....... I'm in a bit of a bind lately myself. The quick on me is.

Could never gain weight, I was the ultra skinny kid. In High School I ran track. I was 5'11" and 135lbs. I did so much cardio that I just couldn't gain. I was fairly strong for my weight and could max out 225lbs on the bench, not a lot but for 135 I felt good.

23 years old came and I went from 140 to 195lbs in one year!! My "Italian" heritage took over and now I'm 32 and 210lbs. I guess not that bad but given my past I should really be at around 170-180lbs.

I just don't know what to do. You guys will be in my shoes one day. I know you "say" you have no time, but wait until you have a demanding job and kids. It's sad but "your" life takes a back seat. What makes matters worse is I have given up on myself. I figure even if I spend 30 minutes a day there's no way your gonna get in shape, just give it up John, your not 22 anymore.

Attitude is key and mine sucks (unfortunately)

make it your goal to get in the Men's Health Belly Off Club. you can do a lot in 30 minutes, get a leather jump rope and go outside. jumping rope is very good cardio.

Don't think of it as just 30 minutes of cardio...you're also NOT eating chips or drinking beer for 30 minutes. So you get the positive benefits and reduce the negative impacts of your lifestyle at the same time.

I need to start working out again too. I'm still thin because I don't really eat big meals anymore, but my muscle definition and cardio are crap. Maybe with my fiance coming out here soon we'll get more active together...one way or another

About two years ago I started a strick regiment of every other day lifting for about an hour (my dad has a good set of free weights and equipment in the basement), and the days in between running 1-2 miles.

I did this for about 2 months non stop so I could get in shape for lifeguard training. At the beginning I was roughly 6' and 180lbs, and by the end I was down to about 165. I definately leaned out a lot and gained some mass.

Now Im about 6'4 and 170 and want to bulk up a bit, but with working 40hrs a week while in college its pretty hard to find time among other chores and just relaxing.

I need the hours at my job so I can pay off debts and basically live, and I dont want my grades to suffer because Im spending time working out when I should be studying or sleeping.

I was always a skinny little kid. My first day freshman year of HS i was 5' 4" 145 pounds. By graduation, I was 5'8" 245. Four months ago i decide to get a career type job and start losing weight. Today, i just got a raise and i weigh in at 180 pounds. I've been riding a freakin fat roller coaster ride.
