Yesterday in a freak accident Yankees pitcher Corey Lidle died in Manhattan when his single engine plane crashed in to a 50 story luxury highrise. Him and his instructer were killed.

This shit is pretty fucked up considering everything that had happened recently involving him and the yankees. Really puts all the sports and baseball talk and all the intensity that has been going on with the playoffs into perspective. Reality > * One minute you are here and the next you aren't. The guy was only 34 years old which is young by todays standards. He leaves behind his wife and 6 year old son. what is weird is that manny acta mets 3rd base coach lives in that building and was there 45 min before the plan crashed. When it happened everybody thought it was another 9-11 and looking at the pix of the wreckage thats exactly what it looks like but miniaturized. Its crazy. R.I.P
