why the sad face? the mets swept the dodgers! that's pretty awesome. my team didn't even make it (red sox). management is gonna have to figure some things out for next season.

gotcha, that would have been pretty awesome. what i think would be really cool is if through some fluke or random rule change there could be a red sox / yankees world series. that woudl be awesome.

METS = TEH # UNO......
They play the cardinals wed this is gonna be great shit. DAMN YANKEES! I cant believe they lost like that but for some reason im not surprised in the least bit. That team just has no heart or pride. Arod had only 2 hits in the last 3-4 post seasons combined and the rest of the lineup aside from Jeter who btw always seems to do it big every damn post season has stunk. Giambi fell apart, Shefield, Matsui, Posada had decent numbers but nothing to write home about, Where the fuck was Bernie??????? He should have been playing more, Melky should have been playing more, Johnson should have been shot and sent to the glue factory, geeze i could keep going here but my fingers hurt
GO METS!!!

people in chicago know what baseball is??? In new york football doesnt officially begin till after game 7 of the word series (if a new york team is in it of course). Anybody been listening to the radio?? the yankees have been picked apart from teh front office down to the batboys. they have been calling for arod to get traded, sheff to be ran out of town etc etc. its been great hearing everyone tear apart a bunch of overpriced players who arent worth it. Im not a yankee hater but i didnt like this team. there was no heart or pride. They didnt care as long as they were getting paid.

it's a good thing New York isn't paying attention to football considering what happened to Buffalo this weekend.
And we know a little bit about baseball. The 2nd best baseball team in Chicago did win the world series last year...

i dont think newyork is worried about buffalo. the jets got their asses handed to them on a silver platter with some teryaki sauce. what was it 48-0??? something like that.
So nick the best baseball team in chicago didnt even make it to the playoffs last year? New york hands down is the most passionate about baseball. The mets are going strong. See you guys in the world series.....Detriot wont beat the mets. They are considered A national league team with an american league batting order.

the 2nd best team in Chicago thing was a joke. It's funny though how 2/3rds of Chicago don't care about certain teams. One of these days the Cubs will finally figure out how to use their talent (or at least not get injured) and put together a good season.
Oh, and Buffalo lost 40-7
