everyday should be the same diet wise. your muscle is still rebuilding 24 hours a day.

ideally you should get in atleast 3 days a week, evenly spaced. doing full body workouts (intense). and your diet should remain the same everyday. and no, not "amino's" but real protein, such as animal and soy. someone who is not doing a daily routine doesnt need supplements, but a normal diet should let you build muscle nicely.
on a side note: a common misconception is that the body needs amino acids since those are the building blocks of protein. however someone who has studied nutrition, biology, and even genetics will tell you that amino acids in their base forms cannot be digested by the body, our digestive systems are only designed to break down amino acids from proteins. they wouldnt know how to transport the amino acid chains from your digestive tract at all. its just basic design.

optimum nutrition gold standard 100% whey advertises that it provides the most pure amino acids. sounds good, but yeah waste of time and money. eating some chicken, eggs, or fish will do you much better.
what people forget is that for bodybuilding, and trying to tone and lose fat. the goal is to eat foods packed with the most nutrients to calories ratio. fish is pretty lean and high in a lot of nutrients, likewise for most lean animal meats.

yeah, I think I'm gonna look up some tuna and chicken recipes, what do you think about burgers on a george forman grill? Does all that grease draining out really help?

it does actually. I dont know how much though, but if you use lean meat, theres nothing wrong with having it in a patty form. if you need to have a bun with it, opt for whole wheat and add some mushrooms or onions for extra taste.

Whats the advantages of whole wheat bread?
And I use the burgers that are already in the patty form, I just grab them out of the box and toss them on, should I buy ground beef and make patties instead?

red meat is not a good option unless you are in a bulking phase. it has high calorie to nutrient and protein ratio. tuna and chicken are the best choices. as for beef parts, liver too.

i know that i read in muscle and fitness, they took all the different cuts of meat, and gave you the nutrition facts, and flank steak and a couple others were just as low in fat and high in protein as chicken.
