Just finished tuning the S2000 (dyno sheets)
The goal was 200 whp... Took it to the shop today to get it tuned. Here is my original dyno sheet. The car was stock at this time, no mods whatsoever. Put down 192.45 hp, and 129 tq. Notice how rough the power curve is, and that the smoothing is still set to maximum for the dynojet.
Here is today's dyno, with the Invidia exhaust and Apexi Neo. Baseline is in green, with the neo installed but not tuned. 192.76 hp, and 130 tq. So I saw no hp gain and only 1 ft/lb of torque out of the exhaust. Guess it's a good thing I didn't pay much for it.
The final run turns out in blue, at 201.63 hp and 135.74 tq..... a total gain of 9 whp and almost 6 ft/lbs of torque on just an Invidia exhaust an a tuned Apexi Neo. Not to mention that it smoothed out the power band IMMENSELY, (notice how much smoother it is, and the smoothing rate is still set to max)
And on an even better note... I came home from getting it tuned, and surpassing my power goal... to find these sitting next to my garage! Tein Type FLEX baby! I'll put them in on Saturday, most likely.

seems like a really cool place... smaller than I figured, not as "professional" as I thought it'd be either. I guess I was expecting to walk into like your average auto shop though... like an NTB or something. So it was much more laid back and I enjoyed my experience there a lot more. Some really badass shit they've got going on there though... something I think I'm going to enjoy being a part of.
And those aren't Blake's old ITBs... he just had the idea first. That's a project I've had on hold for a while, just because I've got no real way to tune it (the Neo or even an eManage probably couldn't handle it, so I'd have to go standalone I think.) But if everything works out well with this shop... it's a project I'm still interesting in pursuing. So you might see that worked out in the next year or so... maybe. I've already got all the mechanical parts ready to go... just need some welding work done. You can see the stock S2K manifold I'm gonna weld them to... just gotta get some short runners attached and I'll be all set.

I was gonna say something about those itb's. Post pics when you're slammed. And do you have any other mods planned to make more power?

I'll definitely post pics when it's dropped, don't worry about that.
and no, as of yet I dont really have anything else planned in the power department... I was going parts crazy for a little while, but in taking this new job (and it not paying) I'm gonna be cutting my spending back a lot so I can survive for the next year or so without income... so that means I gotta stop buying car parts too.
I dunno, I hit my power goal, and I'll have a pretty nice suspension in it with the FLEXes and the cage... so I think I'll let it sit for a little while, just be happy with it as is... I might do a little more suspension work though... strut bars, sway bars, crap like that... but nothing too serious. But maybe not. Chances are, I'll probably just keep up with the maintenance... probably over-do the maintenance, just to make sure it runs super efficiently.
Personally, I'd rather have a car that runs better and smoother than any other car out there, than have one making gobs of power.

nah I did go to BG... I just posted that Mainstream sheet because it was the stock one, no mods at all. Just so people could see the original numbers. The second dyno sheet is todays, the one from BG
