amplifier installed
I was planning on selling this thing, but to no avail... so I said fuck it, and installed it in my S...
it sounds great... for only two speakers anyway. Clarion head unit, Pioneer two way door speakers, Power Acoustik 550 watt amp.
Next I'm adding a subwoofer back there, which I can also power through the amp (it's tri-mode capable).
I bought some 6x9 Pioneer 3-ways, I was gonna install them behind the seats, but the speaker's magnet was too large to fit into a flush mount back there... so I'll have to either find something smaller, or just live without it. the 2 speaker set up sounds just great right now, no subs, no tweeters. So I'm probably just gonna put a sub to round out the low end and leave it at that... I guess we'll see as time goes on.

Looks good! you did a grate job on the install nice and clean.
One 10 would be nice so you would have room.

haha, dude, I'd have to remove the passenger seat to fit that thing in the S... haha... even after that, it probably still wouldn't fit.
I am gonna get like a 10" sub though, just to kinda round out the sound...

honestly, as loud as the Invidia is... with just the head unit, two 3-way pioneer speakers and this amp, I can turn it up as loud as it'll go, and I can't hear the exhaust at all with the top up. with it down, I can still hear it, but if it's up... no way.

nah... I pulled up the lining and mounted it to that... then just put the lining back down in place... turned out pretty clean install, if I do say so myself.
