I've had great luck with Kumho tires.
I absolutely love them. If you are going all season, get the 711's like blake posted, if you want something a little more extreme, look at a set of Ecsta Supra 712's, or even a set of MX's.
I had 2 sets of 712's during the time I owned my crx, and they were just amazing tires. Phenomenal levels of grip (not just "for what they are", although they won't break your wallet), and very progressive breakaway. In between the 2 i had a set of dunlop SP sport 9000's which were good, but not as good as the 712's.

kuhmo FTL. in my canyon and moutain courses they squeeled like pigs and i had no confidence with them. the best tires for the money have been dunlop fm901s, nitto nt455s, and yokohama es100s.

Being that you and I live fairly close together and have the same type of weather all year round, I suggest BFG's Traction T/A. I currently have them on my 1999 SI and have no compalints. Summer traction is real good and winter driving in the snow gives me no worries
