Comes off the IM, is held by a plasic bracket thing... and connects to... nothing.... What is is supposed to connect to? Couldn't find it in any diagrams in the Helms.

Looks like the hose to your PCV valve. 5-8 bucks for a new one.

is that the type s engine or sumthin? i dont have that on my h22. it looks like it goes from the intake runner maybe to that black boc under the intake manifold. its called the intake air by pass (iab) control solenoid valve vacuum box. mine is bad on my h22. i was under there when i was doin my alognment at work the other day and i noticed that the vacuum line that goes from the iab diaphram to that box was disconnected. then i realized that the vacuum nipple was broke off and so was the sensor. i called up honda nad they want like $140 or something rediculous like that for it. i need one tho. itll hafta wait till next paycheck. i get paid on wednesdays and a 55 hour work week's paycheck is defenately something to look foreward to.

i'm pretty sure that second valve in the pic, besides the fpr, is the iab.

edit: iab diaphragm is connected to all the necessary things.... don't think this hose is related to that...

yeah it is. but the hose that youre talking about might go the the same vacuum box underneath the manifold.

this is the vacuum box i was talking about underneath the manifold.

and here is my manifold...i dont have that hose. like i said...i think it goes to the iab vacuum box. it looks like it goes underneath the manifold as well, and there isnt much under there besides that box.
