How low is your prelude

how much have you guys with either coilovers or springs and struts/shocks lowered your preludes?

I keep reading lowering a 5th gen any more then 1.5 inchs leaves you with ony like an inch of travel.

with the tanabes in I was planning on lowering it around 2.5 inchs is this going to be too low for daily driving? or is the suspension going to be stiff enough for this kind of drop?

i think it would be too low. i used to have it pretty low and I hated how i would scrape the bottom of my car on nearly everything.

now my car is at ~3 finger gap all around and it looks good and doesn't scrape at all, except on some speed bumps, though it used to look a little better in the belly flopping days

i had my car close to 2.5 maybe 3 inches. driving around was ok until you hit bumps or peaks in the road, or trying to get out of a driveway. I raised my car up some and i enjoy my car alot more. Less worries.

hmm so probably keep it at 2 inch drop maybe 2.25 inch max I'll be keep the stock wheels on it for a while so I'm sure if/when I do get some lightwieght 17's it will look a lot better but money to me can be spend on better things then rims atm (ie coilovers strut and sway bars underbody bracing)=P

Mine is lowered 2 in front and 1.8 in back with H&R race springs. I dont scrape much at all and there are plenty of potholes and speedbumps around here.
