wiper motor intermittant went out

Hi folks,

On my '91 lude the wiper motor lost its intermittant function, though it works fine on low/high.

I know the switch could possibly be bad, and I have yet to check that, but where is the "timer" located? Is it in the wiper motor itself? A relay? If so, maybe the motor is bad, or a relay, if that indeed controls the timing of the wipers.

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Ranger
