Best bolt-on muffler for 91 Lude 2.0 Si?

Hi folks,

The original muffler is about shot. Am looking for something that flows better than stock, and thus may get better m.p.g.

Still, I don't want a "coffee can" sticking out of the back, and I don't have a welder, so I will need all of the brackets already attached.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

imo your better off getting a whole exhuast system, but as for the muffler it really depends on what type of sound you really want (piping, header, and cat can all change the sound too but the muffler kinda sets the tone). you can always ad a silencer to the muffler or inbetween the cat if you want to keep it quiet

since you don't want a huge outlet, i'd go for a magnaflow, they have some that are close to stock design or the apexi na muffler is also a low decible muffler

I think the greddy sp2 system sounds nice if you go with the whole system, might be a lil to loud to your taste

There was a site where you could listen to the different sounds of exhaust
systems

Thanks. I have a freshly rebuilt motor and a gutted cat. Just looking for something that will outflow the stock muffler, yet not be much louder.

Where is the best place to purchase the Magnaflow, and does anyone know the part # that is closest to our stock design?

Regards,

Ranger
