Strange Hesitation/Loss of Power

I've been having an issue with my Prelude, only when the temp is below 40 F, since I bought it. I'll do my best to explain what happens.

This only happes when the car has been sitting and the engine has completely cooled off. It appears to be enigine temp related because the sudden "blip" happens right before the engine reaches operating temp. It only lasts for a split second. It feels like fuel or spark is interrupted, but just briefly, and then it's back to normal. I notice it more when it's colder outside and when the RPMs are higher. It always happens when the temp needle is at the same spot on the gauge, just before where it sits at normal op temp.

My mods include i/h/e, pulleys, and a JET chip. What do you think the problem could be?

I'm no stranger to problems in our cars and I've never heard of this before. I've also never heard of the JET chip you have. Maybe this has something to do with it, call the company and ask them if any of their customers have complained about this before. Sorry I cant be of much help

Hi i had exactly the same problem with my Prelude just recently. Just changed the spark plugs and now it's allright. Check them because usually the best solution is the simple one
