Alright my buddy has a t3/t4 on his h22 and the turbo wont spool up to build boost, it will spool up enough to get the vac at 0 but wont build any boost, we tryed blocking off the external waste gate thinking it was leaking boost but it isnt u cant hear the turbo spool as were u used to. any idea's as what the problem could be?
Is there any shaft play on the turbo?
Does the car smoke out of the exhuast?..white smoke?
Also..what kind of turbo is it...garret, turbonetics etc.?
turbo is probaly gonna need a rebuild..
sounds like a boost leak or a loose intercooler pipe! theres not really many other reasons other than a blown turbo, but then youd see smoke and hear noises
