i think my lude's holdin back a bit

ok guys, i gotta problem here. ive got the usual bolt on's, intake, header, catback, also a stage 1 exceddy and an 8 pound flywheel with a chipped p28 (untuned at the moment). thing is, i came across a sivic si, an ep3 tonight. well we were playin a bit goin down the road and hit some traffic so stopped messin around. we finally got to some open road and just out of the 35 mph zone, i was in 3rd gear at about 3200 rpm's...the sweet spot lol. i gunned it and so did he. he stayed pretty close to me the whole time. i did pull on him through 4th gear, but not that hard . he started maybe 1 car length behind me and we finished with him being about 5 cars behind me. i woulda thought hed be a speck in my rear view. or does this sound right? i know i need a tune, but would a tune make that much of a diference. now, i dont know what he had done to his car. lets just say i didnt hear any signs of boost goin on so i dunno.

well. those si's aren't the slowest on the road. It sounds like your prelude is actin how it should. Sounds to me like all you need is a deacent tune and you'll be set. Maybe you're not gettin as much fuel as you should be?

yeah... those Si's aren't exactly like regular civics... the 'Lude should be faster, but I wouldn't expect to be leaving them miles behind or anything, even with a good tune.
