H23 manual Tensioner convertion

How hard is this to do while the engine is still in the car, my engine is making a flapping noise and I though it was because I needed a valve adjustment but it may be this. I wanted to do my timing belt soon anyway so when I have that done I will put in the manual tensioner as well.

its the same as doing a normal timing belt change but with a little less stress because you dont have to use the auto tensioner with the braket and all that crap. you tension it manually....so it might take a little more strength

has anyone removed their blanace shafts?

found this kit http://www.kaizenspeed.com/products_AA.html

not sure if can do that while the engine is still in, seems like a pretty good way to free up some power.
