Tanabe versus Spoon strut Bars

OK for strut bars these too seem like the best choices, I've looked into the neuspeed and hear good and bad. I don't like the DC bar all that much for whatever reason just not a fan.

Heres the thing the Tanabe bars are less then 100 each (something like 89 bucks a pop) Look nice and strong and have some good reviews.

Now the spoon set is $337 shipped for front and rears and I have heard nothing but awesome reviews for them. BUT I am starting to think that they are getting awesome reviews becuase of a brand name and not so much becuase they are some how a lot better then any other bar on the market. Good thing is I can order them with my exhuast and they would all arrive in 1 nice package.

Are the sppon strut bars soo much more becuase of their spoon name and that they are no longer made, or is there something that makes them worth 337 dollars? I highly doubt I'll be enter any shows with the prelude(just not my thing) and besides being able to flex my brand name penis at people by saying I have spoon bars on my lude any reason to get these or should I save the hundred or so for say something like an oh I don't know P28 chipped phearable ECU and OBD1?

I know this isn't one of your top 2 choices, but my $.02 is I love my Neuspeed strut bar. It looks good and performs great. I haven't had a problem with it yet. It's a one-piece design with good welds. I don't like strut bars that have any breaks in them.

The Neuspeed bar is the best for the front as it is solid. As for the rear I just got a Tanabe because I couldint find a Spoon. Like said above, the less break's in the bar the better.

something I just noticed is that the spoon bars only attact to 2 of the strut bolts not all 3 isn't that a bit of a problem?

Neuspeed is the same way. I don't believe there are any ill effects of this. It's not like the strut is moving in the first place.

Are those black bars part of the ARP bar? or do they go to the fire wall?

they arent. they are just the stock bars that connect the strut tower to the firewall.
