suspension choices
ok i have a 4th gen lude, im thinking of making my next major mod some nice lowering springs. what ones do you guys think would be the best. skunk 2, eibach prokit, or H&R race springs? im thinking about the prokit, but i just wanna see what everyone else thinks, and their experiences (if any at all) with some of the lowering kits.
also, sory ive never ben too big on suspension work im more about body styling (no not with big rediculous body kits and wings that you could lift off with) and engine parts so youll have to excuse me. but would it be okay to use stock struts with lowering springs?

in short no stock struts are bad with lowering springs.
Do people do it, all the time but it does wear them out a LOT faster depending on the springs you go with and it can become pretty bouncy, If you serious about your suspension I would save for some coilovers or even springs and a set of koni yellows or something.

it depends some springs are made to work with stock shocks and ride pretty decent with them. If your running a minor drop it wont effect you that much, best example of that is the eibach pro kits.

I dont like the tein s techs, the spring rate on them is to soft we switched out my freinds tokico hp suspension and put the s tech springs. The car is lower but the suspension handles worse then the tokico springs. Also because the suspension is so soft you get slow bouncing on the highway. Like your in the ocean.

strut/spring setup isn't that expencive..
if you can install them yourself, it'll run you less then $500 with good setup.
or even coil-springs on aftermarket struts.
