wrong headlight bulbs?

ok guys, im having some fitment issues with these bulbs. i ordered the immitation 1 piece headlights (as some of you already know) but i cant seem to get the bulbs to fit right. the part where the bulb goes into the socket are the same on my lights and the oem lights, but the harnesses dont seem to fit. i dont know why. am i missing something here? i know there are 9005/9006 bulbs (which i have) and ive also seen HB3 (9005) and HB4 (9006) bulbs. i was wondering if there was a difference between the 9005 and the HB3's and the 9006 and the HB4's? anyone know. on the light itself, it says "HB3" above the lowbeam socket and "HB4" above the highbeam socket. i thought the HB3 and the HB4 bulbs were the same as the 9005 and 9006 bulbs, no? someone please help. here is a pic (sorry its blurry) of what im talking about how they wouldnt fit with the harness. is there a spacer or something that i need or what? ofcourse i dont have the oem lights to really compare to because my car came with the gas ass projectors. so thats no help there. the projectors take H3 bulbs.

HB3 and HB4 are 9005 and 9006. They are almost identacle, except for the tip of the bulb, and the socket. Look at the socket on the 9005, and then at the 9006 bulb. One will have 2 small notches on the inside, and one will have 1 small notch on the inside. Whichever has 1 notch (can't remember which one, I think the 9005), is the one that will fit that the socket you have pictured.

well, the bulb fits in the socket, but the connector under the hood that plugs into the bulb doesent have anough clearance when the bulb is in the socket. its kinda hard to explain. but the wire harness from the car fits the bulb, and the bulb fits in the socket (in the headlight itself), but with the bulb in the socket, i cant get the connector on the bulb because the bulb sits basicallt flush with the base of the socket on the headlight. again, this is hard to explain (especially with a nice little beer glow going on) so im sorry but i hope you can make out what im trying to get at.

thanks for the help though justin.
