just got the 1 piece replicas *pics*
ok guys, i know some of you 4th genner luders were wondering about these ebay 1 piece jdm replicas. well i ordered some and they finally came in today. i must say, im verry plaesed.
this is the out of the box, pre install review. there will be more pics of them on my car and an after install review later on.
the quality is overall pretty good. its better then the ones i have now though ("jdm projectors"). the lenses are plastic and not glass, but they are a verry durable plastic just like the oem plastic material they use for lights. i tried to scratch the bottom of them with my fingernail (theyre pretty long and sharp right now too) and i couldnt with all my might get a scratch on them. so thats good. the overall construction is great, they look sealed verry well although i will lay a bead of silicone around the edges just to be safe. the lenses are also VERRY clear. i like that too. where the bulbs sit into looks extremely sturdy so no problems there.
on a scale of 1 to 10, id rate these at a verry high 8. like i said, ill keep everyone updated and when i get them in, ill post some more pics. till then, let me know what you guys think
edit: they are also DOT approved and stamped.

well the installation might be a little longer then expected now because i have no idea how to secure the bulbs to the headlight itself. i dont have the retainers because i bought the car with the gay ass projectors and they took completely different bulbs. i dont know if they just turn into the hole or of there is some kind of retainer that is supposed to hold them in or what.

They're In!!!
WOOT!!!, took me about 2 hours from start to finish, that was working slowly and cleaning some of the things behind the bumper cover while i was in there. i think they look good, what about you guys?
i do just ask that you guys dont make fun of my car for the front bumper and the hood. the guy that had the car before me hit a deer with the car, and never painted the hood. it was primed and thats how it stayed the whole time i had it. after sitting in my garage for almost 3 years (with a blown engine), it got sorta rusty, so just look past the bumper and hood lol. they will be fixed asap.
the ONLY fitment issues i had was because of the bent radiator support. thats it, otherwise, they fit like oem lights. the gaps youll kinda see if you look hard in the pics is NOT because of the lights. its because, again, the guy before me hit a deer and didnt fix it right. TIME FOR PICS!!!
these are the ghey old projector lights.
this is during the removal of the old ones with the bumper off.
and here...is...some AFTER SHOTS

tlc is a must. i think ill have to paint the hood black though because i dunno if the color is stock? i know the cars ben repainted, but there is no color code so i dont know if its a stock color. the closest thing it looks like is frost white.

just thought id include that ive had them in for bout 3 days now, and still no problems. they project the light berry well. i adjusted them pretty good so far, they still need to be fine tuned. but with the bulbs i have they are verry bright. i like them alot.
