Aftermarket wheel ok for type SH or not?

There's some discussion on SHO about this now.

http://www.superhonda.com/forum/show...8&page=2&pp=15

There is a DIY on ntpog that mentions using caution with the steering angle sensor when installing a hub. So, the sensor is actually not in the wheel itself? Does this mean some hubs + wheels/other honda wheels are compatible with atts?

i have an aftermarket wheel and my turn signals dont go off by themselves. its really no big deal at all, you get used to it in about 5 turns. i see it as giving my car more character lol.

I think you would/should recalibrate the steering angel. And have the sensors adjust to the new wheels.
Edit: thought you ment wheels as in getting 17', but doing the above might help.
Didnt DrivinVtec do this to his car.
