i wouldnt be able to count how many bolt on spacers ive seen on cars these days......i havent had any trouble with mine over the past few months...mates in japan have seen pro's running them and they themselves have also for 2+ years and they have never failed..........i think the ppl with the problems are those who cut corners with the bolt on spacers themselves, its something u dont want to cheap out on.

anyhooooooOOOoooooo, bolt on spacers are ok. but there's too many bad ones out there plus alot of ppl arent puttin them on right and takin proper precautions using them. even some of the d1 drivers have lost wheels along the way. scary stuff
i know some of the porsche cup drivers use spacers within certain regulatin limits in the cupGT here......helps with the scrub radius.

yeah, I was just joking. Spacers to a degree are OK and your right Kev the Porsche guys run them (I used to sell them). The problem a lot of people have is.....
1) poor quality parts
2) not using longer studs when the spacer is over 3-4mm

this is in no way to sound like im bragging or cocky...
1) mine are custom made by a business that builds pro stock drag cars
2) i ran 8mm slip on spacers for 1year and didnt buy longer studs, i had maybe 4 threads to fit the wheel and spacer on (no problems) with wheels falling off
i now have b/o spacers which are 25mm and fit perfectly, its just i used a rattle gun a little to hard on one and broke a stud
currently driving around with 4 studs on the b/o spacer and is still working nicely
im always changing tyres and have never had nuts or wheels fall off

yeah but i'd never do it to older studs on older chassis.......seriously if i was to build an rps13, i'd just replace the whole hub for 5 lug anyway. and use fresher bolts.
