How to make the color pop
wsup guys! I was wondering how to make a color pop like the pictures below.
How to make a blue bluer, how to make red reder and etc. These shots were taken from either a canon s2 is or s3 is. The guy who took these pictures said he had it on vivid settings instead of normal setting. Any tip or help would be appreciated.

using perfect days and very saturated films or settings...typically if you use a slower ISO you will get yourself more saturated images.
the trick to the first two images is to take a reflective meter reading of the sky about 45 degrees from the sun. here's an example of mine.
keep in mind that your sky will vary depending on where you live, areas with higher pollution (like smog) create much prettier sunsets.

nevermind.. I'll just read the manual. Manual is gonna be my best friend for couple of days  . Btw, I just bought a canon s2 is which is a awesome camera.

It doesn't say much on the manual but do you mean lock the exposure, recompose it and take the shot?

exactly get your exposure from 45 degrees of the sun (sun can't be in meter are) then recompose.
when you point your camera and your camera tells you what exposure it is, it is using a reflective meter.
