i dont remeber the name of the camera but its the pentax ist dl i think. well the walmart in the city just got one on display and its only going for 600 and if i can get the display model i will get 10-15% off. what are your thoughts on this camera?

Wait for the K100. It comes with built-in shake reduction and has an autofocus indicator that beeps even with older manual lenses.

I believe the Pentax K100 will be released in a month or two. I'm waiting for the 10mp version to come out by the year's end.

thing is, i have a eos rebel 2000 and i want a canon b/c i can use the lenses and what not but that price is right on the pentax. and i really do need to get a dslr before august cause i need it for school. damn it! i dotn know what to do.
