Woohoo!! Making a photo studio in our warehouse!
My boss bought some gear on eBay, and it should arrive soon. Now all I have to do is recruit hawt foxes who do nude modeling, and we'll be set!!
... hehe actually we will use it for shooting shoes, rappers, and shoe models.

Nice!
I was surfing around some sites like B&H and Butterfly photo the other day and I saw them selling mini-studios...like the size of a couple shoeboxes. It was weird. For $100 you got this backdrop box and some mini fluorescent stage lights. They were marketing them as "perfect for photographing items for sale on Ebay!"
You're not getting one of these are you?
btw I freaking love your sig

Thanks bro! The studio we got is fortunately bigger. The backdrop screen extends to 15 feet high and 20 feet long... Therefore, I can do group shots for numerous but nekked shoe models and even lesbo orgies.

lol!! Thanks masta loon. I am actually waiting for the new Pentax D645 medium format dslr to come out at the end of this year... I love my lenses, so it would be hard for me to switch brands at the moment.
...but after shooting with my dslr for nearly a year now, it feels like a part of my body... sorta like a cack that can change lengths and shoot photos.

they arent flourescent...how do I know? because flourescent lights are not a continuos spectrum light since it is as gas being charged by electricity if you photograph under flourescents you will get a green shift...of course this can be correct by a 30M filter...but studios will either use Tungsten (3400k) light or a Strobe kit.
anyways
very nice Jover, what kind of lights are those?

Thanks bossman! The lights are Frosted Quartz Halogen bulbs - Color temperature = 3200K. I'd like tungsten too so I can get warmer images.

I know fluorescents suck, but they actually were fluorescent because this was a cheap ass shoebox kit for taking pictures of stuff on ebay.
But I'm sure Jover's are good lights.

With shipping it's 429. The stands and the racks just came in, and the lights will get here on Monday.
