Static pressure test: Tomei Thermo-killer for 4G63T

Tested was a Tomei Thero-killer oil regulator valve, engine was out of the car with the oil pressure feed tapped to the IN port of the pump, crankshaft was NOT driven. Pressure signal tapped from oil pressure switch.

FIndings were:

Stock unit: 30PSI oil pressure.
Thermo-Killer: 10PSI oil pressure.

I have no idea what it's going to do with the crank being driven, with the oil pump circulating; please post more info on this part if you have used it.

Componentry is identical except for pistons, which were destroyed. Bore has increased to 86mm[+20 thou]but stroke remains 88mm. CR is measured at 8.3, valve guides remanufactured from alu/copper for greater wear resistance. Ports mildly enlarged with the final dimensions left untouched near the valves[increased venturi effect] Everything else has not changed. Somthing seems to have happeed though; we can now still hear the turbo spooling down to nil +/-45secs after the engine is cut.
