this is a true story..

i was working one sunday at my shop, and some kid came up to the ship on a bike, and was standing at the back door, he asked if anybody knew anything about nitrous. So i walked over to him and asked him why. (he is a 14 year old kid, riding his bike) he turns to me and says that and i quote "i want to move my nitrous to my throtlebody" i almost fell over. then i asked him my first question "what kind of car do you have?" he said he had just got a 94 Toyota supra, and it had nitrous and that he wanted to move it from his intake to his throtle body. i was speachless. then i asked him if the car was turbo or not, he didnt know. he told me that he saw his friend do it and told me you get more horsepower all that i could say to him was "listen kid, take the bottle out of the car, and put it on a shelf in your house, cuz you really dont need to be fucking with that.. do you even know how to drive"? the story just got progressivly worse, as i found his parents paid 16k for the car and that he had a friend who had a fast car, and he wanted to beat him, and i just shook my head and told him he is going to kill himself or someone else



why? how can this happen?

How can parents buy thier 14 yo a 16K car? More importantly how can he drive at that age?

I know the son of one of the larger aftermarket parts suppliers in Massachusetts and his father bought him a 2002 Nissan Maxima, and then has since payed for roughly $20k in mods. Since then... he has gotten a 2003 Pathfinder and has begun modding that for offroading all on daddy's dime.

It is sickening when you know you have worked hard for every last penny to pay for even just the gas and bills for your car. Granted it would be nice, but I don't think he really appreciates it as much as I would if I payed for it all myself.

i know this asian kid...well hes a friends brother..anyway, the kid is 21 hes asian parents own 2 buffet places and other family owns like 3 more, anyway,

this kid has had 1 NA supra..... sold it
1 TT supra......tottaled it
1 TT supra, wrecked fixed then sold
1 TT supra, modded with turbo timers and gay ass body kit thats fucked up, selling it for 27k

and these are all the newer body style supras not the old ones

I think it is because most of these parents are too busy to spend time parenting and never really bring the kid up right, they also feel sorry that they don't spend time with them cuz they are busy with the business or whatever, so they throw money at them and hope the kid stays busy and out of trouble.

like EVERY STI/WRX own around me under the age of 25 and some past the age of 25 pay for mods solely on mommy and daddys dime. Most of them ONLY know their car is turbocharged becuase they bought an upgrade kit for it. I see 17 yrs in BMW's racing around town and I just laugh.

Sure they have a nice car but they are douchenozzle supreme tool whorebags.

They will never appercate anything they get in life and live like douchenozzles forever, most of them can't change a damn tire let alone install a CAI on their own cars. yeah I wish I had their money to do all the crap I want to do to my car but I wouldn't get the satification of seeing the car transform before my own eyes, I wouldn't have the times to remember where I saved for 3 months to pay for the set of coilovers I want then wait oxinously as they are being shipped.

All in All I like paying for everything done to my car, and I like to install it all myself but thats just me, besides a kid that doesn't know how to move a fricken nitrous nozzle up hes damn intake pipe doesn't deserve to have nitrous in his car.

i like the second idea. i live on the edge of the "rich" area the keys, and i see an orange lambo galliardo (sp?) every day, and i worked on a 2003 m5 today, and a few weeks ago i saw a porche carrera gtR some crazy shit, and there are kids going to the schools in benz e350 trucks and escalades, and some going in 69 mustangs, and shit, and im 20 and i dont even have a car :mad: just some spoilled rotten fuckin kids,
