drift button alternative?

Is there any alternative to paying $30 for a "drift button"? It's one of the things that is on my to-do list and i don't see why they need to be that expensive. Oh, and disableing the e-brake permanently is not an option either because i do use it for parking occasionally.

I figured i'd ask this in the Nissan forum because it'd be the people with the most experience with something like this. And no, it won't be used for drifting, to disable the button on the e-brake when drag racing actuallly.

i'm going to examine/test the e-brake on my parts car next weekend when i'm home. How it works sounds pretty simple though and i really don't like the way they look.

all it really is is an add-on to the e-brake button that u can pull. it twists from captive to non-captive. basically when u push it in and lock it in place, ur e-brake button will always be 'in'. hence u can just 'snap' it whenever u like without ever having to push the button in.

as long as u can take the spring in (some ppl remove it), and have something that can hold the button either in or out. thats all it does.
