There's a problem with the speed meter on my fren's 180SX swapped with an S15 engine.. The speed meter on the dash dun seem to function..
it used to work but it's way off (seeing that the meter shows he's doing 0-240 km/h in 6 seconds in 1st gear from idle to 2k rpm... hehe).. i'll post an mpeg of the clip to show u guys the crazy meter when i convert it from my phone camera..
as far as i know he's replaced the ECU twice (the stock S15 ECU).. now the meter just don't even bother to move..

Im going to second the speed sensor response. But it could also be a corupted signal going to the cluster, caused by the alternator. Ive seen that before but not on a nissan.
he's got the cluster.. but there's a some mas ass mods to be done for it to fit into the 180SX.. any chance it's the ECU? will check on the speed sensors.. let me get back to u guys when i find out
